LAN Network PoE (Power over Ethernet) Switches from PLANET

LAN PoE switches transport both the data and the power to the connected network nodes together via the LAN cable. They thus act as power sourcing equipment (PSE) for the PoE end devices, the powered devices (PD). The advantage, for example, when connecting a PoE camera: Plug in the LAN cable - and you're up and running! Thus, industrial PLANET LAN PoE switches offer a robust and reliable network solution that is perfectly suited for demanding environments. With PoE and other advanced features, they can improve network performance and flexibility, simplify installation, and reduce total cost of ownership.

Here you can see an overview of all LAN PoE switches from PLANET. With the product finder you can filter the PoE switches according to your individual requirements.

PoE Extender

Planet PoE Extenders extend the maximum Ethernet range of the PoE switches from 100m as standard to a further 100m or, depending on the model, up to 2.4km via UTP or coaxial cable.
As a powered device (PD), Planet's extenders do not require their own power supply, but take it from the incoming PoE connection. At their output they offer one or more PoE ports for the connection of Ethernet devices with or without PoE.

PoE Injector / PoE Splitter

With a Planet PoE Injector, a Planet PoE end device, e.g. an IP camera, can be connected to a Planet switch without PoE ports. Connected to the switch via patch cable at its input, it provides a standard PoE port according to IEEE802.3af, iEEE802.3at or IEEE802.3bt at its output.
A PoE splitter separates the incoming PoE connection into data (RJ45) and power (V+, V-). This allows 12/24 VDC devices to be supplied with up to 48W at remote locations.
